As cultural heritage experts that have been connecting industry with the community for over twelve years, Terra Rosa Consulting is uniquely placed to see the impact of climate change on the environment in Western Australia. They offer consulting in a range of services such as Native Title assistance, Heritage Approvals, Community Development Projects and more, and currently employ over 40 specialist staff.

Terra Rosa currently has one temporary office and frequently travels in regional and rular Western Australia  They needed something flexible and easy to update with the flexible nature of their business. They found ClimateClever through a partnership with Fremantle City Council and arranged a meeting to see if the platform would suit their needs.

They found the system very user-friendly and proactive in providing clear and achievable actions. Other features included:

• The system can be accessed from any device and can allow multiple users to input data as needed.
• Automated data collection from utility bills is also possible with selected providers. Once set up, data entry is minimised.
• New ways to reduce carbon are promoted, and clear, easy to read visuals representing progress are available at any time.
• A detailed, board ready report is provided at the end of each financial year designed for businesses to assess their current carbon action plans, make improvements, and demonstrate to customers and stakeholders their environmentally conscious activities.

Our solution answered the need for a practical and easy way to reduce their carbon footprint. Carbon emissions are now being tracked, and reduction activities are becoming part of everyday work culture. Carbon reporting is part of the annual end of financial year reporting.
